About the Scholarship

The Nissin Foods USA Good Neighbor Scholarship supports high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership potential. This scholarship is designed to assist students pursuing higher education who aspire to make a positive impact, whether through careers in the public or private sector or across a wide range of professional fields.

Purpose

The mission of the Good Neighbor Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors enrolling in two- or four-year colleges, universities, or accredited trade schools beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.

Award Details

One scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to an eligible student who is the child or legal dependent of a Nissin Foods USA employee in good standing.

Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s educational institution and applied toward qualified educational expenses such as tuition, books, and fees. Awards will be disbursed at the start of the recipient’s first semester or quarter of enrollment. 

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Good Neighbor Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a child or legal dependent of a current Nissin Foods USA employee in good standing.
  • Submit an official high school transcript showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, or community leader.
  • Demonstrate academic performance, leadership potential, and participation in extracurricular and/or community service activities.
  • Complete and submit all required materials by Monday, June 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM PDT (no exceptions).


Application Process

To apply, applicants must:

  • Complete the online application form at nissingoodneighbor.com
  • Submit a 30–60 second video responding to the following prompt:
    “Why do you believe you deserve to receive the Nissin Foods Good Neighbor Scholarship?” at nissingoodneighbor.com
  • Upload all supporting documents, including transcript and letter of recommendation at nissingoodneighbor.com

All materials must be submitted electronically to  nissingoodneighbor.com  by Monday, June 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM PST.

Applicants will be notified of decisions by June 30, 2025.

The scholarship selection committee will review all eligible applications based on established criteria. Evaluation will include academic achievement, leadership, and involvement in community or school-based activities. The committee’s decisions are final.
